jan 13 2010

The equator is slowly heating up again, with hot spots in africa expanding, the red circle at the base of india, and warm area spreading from australia over the pacific islands. Antarctica is getting colder slowly, so we are getting the signs that the shift to the northern hemisphere is happening.

It appears that the northern hemisphere has stopped getting colder, as the magenta area has gotten smaller over north america, but is not yet back to the same size as Dec 20th. Northern europe has turned a light blue, and the magenta area has shrunk over siberia.
