Wow! Siberia has warmed up a little, but north america has been sent to the refrigerator. The green on the east coast is gone out to sea.

It looks like the green is going to pulse back into the sea over northern europe. What is interesting in all this is that Antarctica is staying relatively the same when compared to the wild weather in the northern hemisphere.

Because of the deep purple area in north america is expanding and the magenta stretches from greenland to north america, I would have to say the northern hemisphere is getting colder, but it is starting to slow down. Another week and the northern hemisphere should slowly start heating up.

So it is becoming apparent that next year will be even worse, and start earlier.

The net energy to the planet over a year period is probably less than 5%, but over a 2 week period, it's more like a 20-25% change.

It probably will be on the order of 100% change over a period of 4 weeks, at the next solstice. It all has to do with geometry. I will do a demonstration with the sun and a magnifying glass and post the video.
